Jayanand, the EU may be different: my daughters two best friends in college
and graduate school opted for US federal employment whereas she and her
husband elected private employers.  The friends were riffed out as the US
Washington workforce was reduced and my daughter and husband are thriving
working somewhat at home when they are not traveling on business.  Besides,
you have a business that has value and may be offered to your children as
one option for their careers.
