The subject of this picture isn't really the lamp and its shadow alone, 
it's all the shadows and their varying depths.

Leica M3, Ilford FP4, ISO 125, 1/250th @f16 scanned to .TIFF and PP in GIMP

Again taken in the very bright light and deep shadows of recent weeks in 
London.
