[Leica] IMG: Nathan's PAW 2: a visit to Poland

My sister and brother-in-law live in the city where I was born, Wrocław in Poland. January 5th is my brother-in-law’s birthday, and this year I decided to surprise him with a short visit. So I flew to Wrocław on January 4th. While my sister had been warned about the surprise (I was arriving on a Sunday when most shops are closed in Poland, and I wanted to make sure she had sufficient quantities of beer and other essentials when I arrived), my brother-in-law knew nothing until I called him from the taxi taking me from Wrocław airport to their apartment. This is the kind thing made possible by having a cheap Ryanair flight from Alicante to Wrocław.

I spent a couple of days in Wrocław and then travelled by train to Poznań, another city about 150 km to the north, from where I had a flight home on Wednesday morning. This gave me the opportunity to visit a city that I did not know at all, and which turned out to be quite pleasant.

Aside from the brief trip to Poland, I did the usual activities—cycling, walking on the beach, having lunch with my friend Eri. It’s all here:
