[Leica] Friday in the coffee shop

Coffee is one of my problems when I visit the US. It is either horrible or horribly expensive. Living in Alicante, I am used to paying no more than 1.50 EUR for a café solo that will keep me going for hours.

Incidentally, I am reading a book called Uncommon Grounds right now, by Mark Pendergrast. It is a history of coffee going back to ancient times in Africa to today. The book is a bit too US centric for my taste, but it is an intersting piece of economic history. Also explains why Central America is such a mess.
