Luis,
It would affect those of us using modern dslr/mirrorless systems much less
because we have the huge advantage of anti shake systems (VR/IS/Whatever)
built into our bodies and lenses, which are extremely effective in
operation. If you consider the best tool for low light work, regardless of
photographic history, I do not think it is the Leica M system anymore. Just
as I feel Ansel Adams would have been the most enthusiastic user of
post-processing software had it been available in his time, I also feel the
1940s, 50s, and 60s generation of street photographers, like HCB, would
have embraced anti-shake systems with unbridled glee. It all comes down to
the perfect tool for each job, nothing more, nothing less, focusing on the
end product, the photograph, rather than the equipment used. Just my two
bits!
