An absolutely marvellous aircraft.
It did low passes over my school (on the approach to RAE, Farnborough)
when we were preparing for our final school exams. The school had to get
it diverted.
Later, when in active service, it used to climb out of Heathrow, bank
and then begin to seriously accelerate in the skies above our house. We
could set our clocks by her! No-one minded much.
In the late 80s, on several occasions, my wife did Concorde from LHR ->
Kennedy -> chopper Downtown NYC for working sessions with her clients
in Manhattan, then the reverse in time to arrive home for a late supper,
UK time. Amazing craft sorely missed.
Fond memories,
Peter
PS Good shot, too!!
