us has started searching all vehicles in us headed to Canada (and back) leading to five plus hour waits at Blaine and Pacific even Nexus.  Horror stories Vancouver Sun. apparently border is 100 mile security zone no reporting.  My Canadian M4-P w fat tele elmar caught us border before canada eye.  Fortunately mine was 1913-1983 engraved and that worked but wtf customs duty on inbound stuff.   I registered gear w Customs ages ago but no one wanted to see it.  Grateful for our stable genius leader and how they protect us from Mandler   be aware
