The last full week of 2025 was mostly about the holiday that is upon us. My last day of work was December 23rd, and our office is closed until January 5th. So lots of time to cycle, read, watch football on TV, and walk around Alicante to take in the decorations. For Christmas morning’s gift exchange, I created a new crypto currency, Mochi Coin, and otherwise we celebrated in the traditional Spanish way, by eating a lot. In Spain, gifts are exchanged on Three Kings’ Day, January 6th, so by exchanging gifts on Christmas morning we are an exception. This is of course a habit was have carried over from the early years of our family life which were spent in the US.
