> And then there are the artists.  We always see our fair share when the weather is good scattered about drawing and painting.  I have always admired their talent and often ask if I can take a photo of them while they are working.  They usually are happy to have me do that.  We chat for a bit, then I offer to email them their photo which they are thrilled to get.  Some I have remained in contact with over the years.  Here are a few of them from this trip.  Not great portraits of them, but of them working in the environment of the park.

> Then there is this guy at Tunnel View.  He sets up and cranks out a half dozen or so paintings and sells them on the spot.  I have run into him the last few times we have been in the park, always in the same spot always chatting it up and selling.  I think he is from Monterey.
