Thanks for looking.

A sari is just a six yard piece of cloth of a defined width as worn by the
young woman - there is no sizing involved. In general, that is the way a
saree is supposed to drape, in pleats. In this case, maybe the silk saree
is new, in which case the very light starch which it comes with could be
making it billow a bit. It gets softer and drapes better with age, as it is
used and washed (always by hand, and always at home for silk!). My wife
still wears silk sarees that our grandmothers purchased in the 1950s/60s!
