[Leica] The Quad on the University of Washington campus

This time of year the cherry trees are blossoming in the Quad on the 
U-Dub campus.  The quad is surrounded by some of the older buildings on 
campus and for a week or so it is transformed as these 100+ year old 
cherry trees burst forth to herald spring. Everyone walks around with 
smiles on their faces, even if they are getting a "D" in Economics or 
Chemistry.

On Monday I went over the pass to visit the Quad for the first time in 
years (decades?).  I was surprised to find the U-District has a week 
long festival going on with sales and vendors all about, but I avoided 
that area and just visited the Quad and the trees and remembered my time 
there as a student.

In my days there, people would sit around with a good book, or maybe a 
text book, and relax and enjoy the rare sunny day in Seattle.  Things 
have changed just a bit.

I attempted a few things with some of the photos.  Like a few I posted a 
few months back, I tried to turn the clarity all the way down in 
Lightroom for a sort of dreamy effect and thought it might work with a 
few of these shots, too.  Here are some pairs with and without the effect.
