Absolutely agree!, when I look to my old negatives and the copies I usually was doing  with Ilford Gallery Grade 2 or 3 and Agfa Record Rapid Grade 2, these was much better than actual Ilford FB multigrade, I’ve read on one of the books The Darkroom by Ed. Lustrum what W.E. Smith said on the 50’s, he said that the quality of the papers of the past was much better. I keep about 300 vintage copies, I suppose they have a certain value.
