[Leica] Soft shutter release trivia.... O ring

If you use a soft shutter release, and you wish there were a way to get the thing to stay put and not loosen itself, use a O ring to act like a 
compression seal.

Now, you may ask, what size?

The apparent "right" size is.... 3mm ID with a wall thickness of 1.5mm.....

Sometimes spec'd as 3mm ID x6mmOD.

They are made in synthetic rubber ( Butyl) or slicone.

And where, prey tell, would I find such a beast?

Amazon, of course.  $5-7 for a while bunch of them.....
