[Don Dory]

Greetings to all.  With all the strangeness going on in the world today I
thought I would open 2024 with a bit of US centric forced happiness.   This
was in a museum in Seattle and the two ladies were entranced by this bit of
art:

In the same museum there was a multimedia display of watercolors from the
Japanese war in China.  The water colors were woven together into a tight
narrative:
