[Leica] Tuesday Trees

Greetings to all.  This week brings some history of interest.  Austin was
of very mixed politics in the 1860's.  We had a very popular governor step
down over succession and very conflicted feelings about integration.   This
first image is a home built by an African American near what would become
UT.  This individual sub divided their land over time to help the African
community post Civil War:

There is a cemetery in old Austin that holds memorials to many famous
Texans:

This tree was in NJ with some pegs drilled into the trunk that mimicked cut
