On Sunday a Ukrainian festival was held in Busot, a small town 19 km from my house, a frequent stop on my cycling routes. The village is home to 6 Ukrainian refugee families, which created the initial connection. The event consisted of performances, sales of food and art work, and just general goodwill. I cycled there in the morning and took a few pics:

The goodwill towards the Ukrainians and the friendship between the locals and the newcomers was truly wonderful to witness.
