We had a Krispy Kreme store in Fort Wayne about 15 years ago. It lasted a couple years then closed; no one here liked their donuts. The building later became a McAlister's Deli. Your story about people lining up for KK donuts is one I hear a lot from people outside Indiana though!

am back in Atlanta I will photograph the Krispy Kreme daughter store early
on Sunday morning when the church crowd is lined up for dozens of donuts
fresh out of the glaze bath. They can't make them fast enough and melt
