Ken, thanks for sharing. I visited Leica Solms many years ago. It was a generic industrial flat roofed building that still had a few magic elves inside. Leica had a miraculous turn around from imminent bankruptcy with Dr Andreas Kaufmann’s investment. How fortunate we all are to still have a company producing some of the world’s outstanding optics.
