[Leica] Pond Ice

Retirement was a big adjustment for me.  I missed the kids and school
but not the politics.  The first fall I was depressed as I saw those
yellow buses taking kids to school.  However, after 17 years of
retirement I have come to terms with it.  Well, maybe, as I still teach
in the summer with no pressure and no politics, just fun.

You, being a photographer, might not find it much different than working
as you can still take just as many photos of the things you like. There
are always people there to photograph and "Film" is free for the most
part.  I like how photography went from a hobby for me to now my "job"
that I don't have to do for a living, but it was different than teaching
so it took time to adjust.

So I think it is a wise choice and hope you will still post images for
me to live vicariously through.
