Greetings to all.  This week will be around and about.  The first image is
part of my working class project.  Taken at the grocery store turning into
a destination:

In more enlightened times Austin spent money on urban paths throughout the
city with the work done to keep pedestrians away from automobiles:

We took a trip north of Austin and stopped by Ft. Hood to see their
museum.  Unfortunately the museum was closed and moving out of the
restricted space but we did happen on a memorial site.  Ft. Hood is
primarily a mobile infantry(heavy) base.  This image is from the early days
of the Iraq affair:

Next to the memorial was a ring of armor.  At one time Ft. Hood was the
site for red/blue training with actual Soviet equipment.  This is the wrong

A very popular personality on the KUTH radio station was closing out his
house; the line was around the block to grab a momento from a well loved
