I've been following this thread and although I read the Saloon Keeper's
initial note as a 'probability' I haven't seen where anyone has disputed it.

Do we have any more news?

I interacted with John on numerous NYC trips and he was always pleasant and
helpful and his passing is a real loss.

In the past couple of years we have lost Ken Hansen and his former
associate Jose Gaytan, Jay and Rose Deutsch have closed up shop and Dan
Tamarkin has moved to Chicago.

I'm really starting to feel old and I'm only 6 months shy of 80......
