The composition, the colours, the stories you tell, this is truly great art. Excellent set. JM

Objet : [Leica] Bandhavgarh/Kanha
The second and final instalment of my photographs from my trip last month
to Bandhavgarh and Kanha National Parks.
To start with, another perspective on a Crested Serpent Eagle devouring its
prey (the same scene as the previous frame), which really shows how moving
our position, just a few metres one way or the other, while photographing,
drastically changes the impact and atmosphere of the shot:

Next is a photo of, IMHO, the true core species of the Kanha landscape, and
a species that was rescued from the very brink of extinction, a success
story for conservation in India, the Barasingha (literally "Twelve Tined
Horn''). This is a young male with horns that are not full size as yet:

A Dhole, or Indian Wild Dog, carrying away a portion of a Chital kill:

A typical bandhavgarh vista:

Tiger cubs at Bandhavgarh:

A huge male:

I finish with two photographs of a male taken very late into the evening
after sunset at ISO12800, which led to an impressionistic, painterly effect
without the use of any dedicated painting action, or software:

Comments and Criticism, as ever, welcome
Cheers
