[Don Dory]

Greetings to all.  I am changing it up slightly this week.  We are going to
look at a neighborhood changing character rapidly.  My neighborhood was
built mostly in the early 60's as small bungalows built for the working
class and the service workers to UT and the state government.

First image is the kind of home being built as the bungalows are being torn
down:

This quasi Victorian is on the expensive side of a dividing street.
Remember that in the early 60's there were still red lines for property and
mortgages so if you were of the correct demographic you could get a
mortgage and if not it might be problematic:

This cement block home was probably built by a mason in the fifties as it
is located in an earlier development: a matter of a few blocks as Austin
was dedicated to little change at that time.
