[Leica] Elcan 50mm F2... Original or Light lens lab Repro

I am interested in the performance of this lens.....  There is very limited info on line.
Has anyone used the lens and can tell me their impressions of the lens?

Note that Light Lens Labs has made a reproduction copy... and data on that lens would be helpful.... ( as that is the lens I am really interested in)

For those not familiar with this lens, it is the lens on the KE7A camera.  Special enhancements were made to make it more resilient to shock, and the 
lens design is different to every other Leica lens.
