[Leica] Wednesday Weeds

Greetings to all.  Austin around the university and south to the first ring
road stays pretty weird.  Many people put in strange gates:

Horsetail is an ancient plant that is extremely hardy; much like bamboo it
just doesn't take being removed very well.  Most people elect to clip it to
keep it under control:

Turks cap is native to the Austin area and it blooms pretty much year
round.  It is fairly usual to find the intact blossoms falling:

I believe this is a century plant recovering from our little freeze:

Oleander is a noxious aggressive plant in Austin.  If left unchecked it
will take over a sunny spot:

Flora will find a way to grow if there is a bit of moisture:
