[Leica] Winter solstice

Yesterday was the shortest day of the year, and so I stopped during my pre-work bike ride to photograph the beginning of that day, overlooking the harbour of El Campello. First, the sun appears over the Mediterranean Sea:

A couple of minutes later, I turned the camera to the beach of El Campello, now bathed in the early morning light:
