It depends on what you want to watch.   If you watch a fair number of
movies then the higher definition with a really good black and no glare
glass would be valuable.   My daughter just purchased an 8k 52 inch screen
but primarily games or used it as a rather large canvas to display images.


I would advise listening to your wife about size but higher definition and
widest possible dynamic range will go a long way to enjoyment.  Also, if in
the budget anOLED is real big improvement over all the wanna be
competitors.
