When you first buy the subscription, you teceive the cloud version, the
home based version, and a ipad version. You use whatever you wish to use.
I use only the home based version… no cloud.
If I stop paying ransom, i will always own the original files, the sidecar
files and any edits I have done.
But i will lose the ability to use any functionality such as editing and I
am not sure about the database. Functionality. . I am told I can print
with existing edits.
I strongly recommend you look into ON1 as a replacement. It will accept and
translate all (many???) of your Lr edits. No other editor makes this claim

Yes, I pay my pound of LR flesh monthly.
I also own the stock. That combo has made me money very well.
