[Don Dory]

Greetings to all.  This week we see the snow and ice that befell all of
Texas.  -15C is not anywhere close to normal winter weather for Texas.
Austin is built for weather into the -1 C range and further south into
Houston freezing temperatures are rare: pipes in that city are bare in the
attic.  We start with some brave apartment dwellers out in the snow walking
their dog:

Next we move to an ice sheet flowing off of my metal roof: metal roofs are
common here: hail and the effect of 38C temperatures on normal shingles is
devastating:
