First an Iceland waterfall by Q2, now a waterfall by iPhone 12. This is Seljalandsfoss, a 200’ falls coming off an escarpment a few miles from the south coast. Like most falls in the country, it’s fed primarily by glacial meltwater. This one happens to be fed by the glacier Eyjafjallajökull, on the volcano known by the same name which played hob with transatlantic air traffic in 2010. 

Its height and comparatively low flow rate make it picturesquely vulnerable to the coastal winds off the North Atlantic. It’s quite possible to get drenched on the path 100’ from the bottom of the falls. We did.
