Photographically, this trip was probably the most boring trip to
Yosemite i have ever had.  Not much water, harsh light, blue skies most
of the time.  But it is always a great place to be and relax and walk
around.  Got a few shots of some of the icons and tried to fill the
skies with something.  Maybe I succeeded, or maybe not. You be the judge.

Not the best shot, or maybe even good, from Valley view, but it is the
first time I have seen a rainbow on Bridalveil falls from there.  I
don't think I have ever seen a shot with a rainbow from there from
anyone.  I kept looking at the sun and the angle and convinced my wife
to stay for 30 minutes more, and like I knew what I was talking about,
in 25 min we saw it begin.  Now all I need is better skies.

Yosemite falls from the Swinging Bridge area, and trees filling the sky.

Half Dome from the same general area and we even had a few clouds that day.
