My medical provider, Scripps Health (25 hospitals and clinics, 2500 
doctors, a million patients) was offline for the entire month of May 
because of a ransomware attack that originated somewhere in a former 
Soviet republic. I had a colonoscopy scheduled for some time in the 
second week of May, but even if I had known when it was scheduled, they 
wouldn't have been able to perform it because their automated equipment 
was disabled.

I had an annual ophthalmology appointment this morning and everything 
worked well (and the ophthalmologist said my eyes look healthy).
