But I still cannot see a photo of the specific 6-wheeled vehicle that Jim shot.

Absence of documentation doesn’t mean it wasn’t produced by Packard in their own workshops I must admit :-)

But I doubt that 1,200 of such a beast (Jim’s) were released - the number in the article refers to the overall production including the 4-wheeled type I’m sure.
