I am quite pleased that you have found your method of dealing with the
Covid infestation including not having to cook.  I have found that I enjoy
cooking and am spending more time in the kitchen than on the computers.

As to predictions, check out "Snow Crash" which was published in 1992.
Interesting predictions on virtual reality, self driving cars, and advances
in AI.
