Objet : [Leica] RETROSPECT 52

   The rural community of Cat Springs, Texas was a cornucopia of picture
opportunities. I was beginning to discover that the photographs I liked the
best were not those taken for the newspaper, but those that we called
“pictures at the end of the roll” – in other words, photographs we made for
ourselves, not for an assignment. This was taken at a social gathering –
and one can’t help but ask how the lady opened that bottle of beer.
