Hello Luggers,

First thanks to all who have commented - both on and off list - about our brush with the virus. Think we will be fine. We get let out on Tuesday.

Last night, tonight and Sunday the space station will be passing over Pender Island and I’m doing my best to photograph it. Last night was a wash out

but the first pass tonight was better. I used the Z7 and the 200 - 500 VR zoom plus 1.4 extender and handheld at 1/25 f8.0 and ISO 12,800

managed to capture a few frames of the blob. IBIS is amazing!!

First, here are a few soothing frames of the view from the cabin deck all taken with the Z7.

The last frame is the station as a blob - it really moves quite quickly. Later in the evening when it comes round again I’ll try to get it as a streak with a time exposure using the R28.

The first frame:

.Please shift right to see them all. Can be viewed large if you like.

C&C always welcome. Wash those hands!!

Howard.
