Who would have thought … I also appreciate reading on screen as I don’t need extra lights around for my sore eyes to see.
I sometimes wonder what it was like, back in the night, when one person who could read, and see by means of candlelight, told a silent assembly the marvellous stories that have now become classic.
We’re so lucky with new technologies, but we’ve also lost the sense of togetherness, most of the time.
OTT : does your I-mac take a second screen?

When I renewed my library card several years ago, I was given a PIN Number which allows me to borrow books from the on-line library, but I never expected to use it. Now, with Social Distancing and most public facilities closed, I find the system to be a real blessing. I am reading a book each day, using "Libby" on my iMac. I've considered an iPad, but that has to be held whereas the iMac is self-supporting.
