[Leica] Wednesday Weeds

Greetings to all.  Yesterday I received some suggestions on one image.
This first image is in a similar situation and the highlights have been
brought down quite a bit.

This image of the fairly rare pink turkscap is a bit unfair.  Many people
plant turkscap as a landscape item but it is a native plant.  This one was
growing in a slough near a creek.  I was very tempted to take a cutting or
three and see if I could get it to grow at my house:

Austin in the spring or rainy season is a lot like the marshy ground that
both of our Carter brothers live in.  They both will recognize a beautiful
vine crawling high into the trees:
