That is a quite excellent piece, Peter.

I wonder was it made for a church or cathedral as part of a religious 
progression on a theme, then rejected as being too louche, and installed 
in your house. Could it be be Moira Forsythe who did glass work for 
Guilford cathedral? Why don't you contact the V&A or some institution 
like that to see if they can give any hints? Failing that you might look 
at the chain of ownership for your house, contact former owners or 
relatives of them and see when it was fitted. I recommend this on the 
basis that you are retired :-)
