Greetings to all. Number one image today is the bottom half of a century
plant after it has finished sending up its stamen. The plant dies back and
this image is about half way down that decline:

These purple and yellow beauties are all around sidewalks and field next to
paths this time of year:

This is a collection of vines growing on a limestone wall where a roadway
was cut through a hill. There is really good afternoon light and many
species take advantage of that:

We will end this weeks weeds with an image of my immigrant sunflower. I
