[Leica] Dual Rail Gang 2/1

I hope to do a step-by step series when all these are done:

This gang comes in after tie replacement is finished. They replace the old rail with new rail.

The first unit through puts down a temporary plate for the new rails in the center of the track

the next unit rolls the new ribbon rail  (which has been previously dropped by another train) onto the guides between the old rails

spikes are pulled from the old rail

new plates and anchors are distributed on the ties

a spreader pushes the old rail outward to near the end of the ties

the “sergeant” follows. it is the only unit that rides on these old unfastened rails. it pushes the new rail off the guides at the center of the rail outward onto the plates.

it is followed by alignment and spiking units

(there are other pecialized tasks also for details)

bringing up the rear are units that clean up the scrap (old spikes, plates, anchors and rail)

a finish crew eventually comes in to polish up imperfections
