Death seat.

Seen on a choir stall in the chapel of St. Michael's Hospital, Dun 
Laoghaire, Co. Dublin. I had wandered around the hospital when I was 
visiting my 92 year old uncle who is stuck there with a difficult to 
cure infection. The hospital was built in the 1870s, and still has a 
large, but now mainly empty, chapel which used to be used heavily in the 
past when the Sisters of Mercy ran the hospital.
