B&H is offering made in Portugal lenses at a discount (?) from those made
in Germany. If you are considering a new lens, it might be worthwhile to
peruse the offerings.

Purely speculative, but this may be a way around the 25% duty Pres Trump
put on optical goods from Germany.

I realize that most bodies were assembled in Portugal, but I had not heard
of lens assembly there.
