[Leica] OT: Thoughts on cataract surgery?

I had both eyes done, with my shooting eye (left) at infinity and my right
eye at reading distance.

It worked out great as I do not need glasses for most things, though I do
use them for the computer and readng. The right eye prescription is almost
blank and the left eye lens brings the eye to close-up. This avoids
eyestrain on the more heavily used eye.

I drive without glasses with no particular problem as the brain tricks you
into binocular vision.

The only problem I've run into is that I have to close my close eye when
taking the eye test at the DMV, as the machine doesn't "get" what I am
doing.
