Greetings to all. This will be an eclectic week. Our first example is a
seed pod sticking up over the cattails in a large retention pond that
serves as a green space for a commercial area:

Even though I spent a lot of time in the southern US growing up I never saw
an okra plant. So, here is one in bloom found at a community garden:

This particular plant was found on a trail closed by our addled Mayor. The
rains had delivered several inches of rain which prompted this plant to
produce more blossoms:
