Unfortunately, I had to sell my first Leica, a IIIf with 50 Summitar, that
I bought used at Altman's in Chicago.  When I started using it, I found
that the lens had decentered elements that gave double images on one end of
the frame.  Altman's wouldn't take it back, and I couldn't afford
another lens, so I sold it privately.
But I used my next Leica, a near-mint M3 w. 50mm Summicron collapsible just
about every day from January 1974 to May 2013, when I lost
access to a darkroom.  I would never let go of my RF friend; it's my
favorite camera.  I got another (mint) IIIf w. 50 Summicron collapsible
in 1986 that I also must keep forever.  It's so pretty.
