Great shot of Cash, Bill. I still have a 180 f/2.8 but it sounds like a slightly later model: auto aperture, manual focus, ED glass. We all had to have one, it was an essential lens in any photojournalist’s bag. I think the Vivitar Series 1 70-210mm zoom was the beginning of the end for many fixed-length lenses. As good as the 180 was a recent Nikon 70-200 easily outperforms it at any focal length.
