Peter,
It would not matter if I were a photojournalist, I would want to get the
shot, period. The shelf life of these photos is short, after all.
It would matter if I were a fine art photographer, selling prints for a
living, because I would want harmony in the shot.
For the rest of us amateur hobbyists, it is just waffling, nobody but
friends are going to see the shot.
By the way, I personally love creamy bokeh, and the isolation of the
subject that results from it, I choose my lenses accordingly, but that is
more for personal satisfaction more than anything else!
