It will never be as good as an M, meant to be slightly better with M wides than the SL.

The body has all the stuff for pixel shifting. It would work with a coke bottle. 
I am looking for more info on the M lenses use.  Especially compared to a non modifies Sony A7 family body and the M10. Or M10 Monochrom.
