I much prefer the processed version with its grain. With all due respect to whomever, I can’t imagine preferring the garishly blue raw image.
OTOH, I think the color correction overshot a bit. On my screen, the castle walls have a slightly lavender tinge, and the overcast, which should be virtually greyscale at midday, has the color of applesauce.
As an aside, I’m glad to know you scan with the LS-5000 and Vuescan. That’s the setup I used to scan my 6000+ KCs and ECs. And learned the true digital magic of Photoshop in the process.
